Growing up, Jacques says he was fortunate to have had the opportunity to live in several different states. He states, “exposure to different cultures here within the United States definitely shaped my outlook, towards the positive.” Living in Middle Tennessee since 1996, Jacques attended Springfield High School in Springfield, Tennessee and graduated from Tennessee State University.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Jacques worked his way through college and joined the United States Marine Corp in 2001. While serving in the U.S. Marines he had two deployments to the Middle East. After returning from Iraq and after being honorable discharged, he started at the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services. There he investigated child abuse and was a liaison to the court system.
Jacques Cabell received his Juris Doctorate from Nashville School of Law and is an attorney with Kelli Haas and Associates, PLLC in Franklin, Tennessee. Jacques focuses his practice in family law, criminal law and he represents police officers through the Police Benevolence Associates. Jacques is a member and contributor to non-profit organizations in Middle Tennessee area.
“To me, it is affirmed daily, that no one does anything successful of themselves. There are many actors in an individual’s success, but the most important actor is you. What you do for other’s you are ultimately doing for yourself. So invest in good!” Jacques and his wife Tiajuana live in Nashville.
